5:00 PM

Join us as we explore the push and pull factors that motivated 6 million African Americans to leave the South for points North and West between 1910-1970. What were the new obstacles placed in their way and how are they connected to the startling wealth disparity that exists today? Teachers will have access to a wide array of multi-media resources and activities to engage their students. Open to all teachers. Of special interest to Economics, History and Human Geography classes.
