Fred Dorsett

Fred Dorsett joined the USF Stavros Center in September 1998 following a thirty-one year teaching career in Pinellas County. As Instructor & Program Coordinator, he is responsible for developing, evaluating, and researching curriculum materials, teaching courses, presenting teacher workshops, and assisting teachers and schools in the integration of economics. Dorsett has been active in FCSS for the past 32 years. He has served as President, Regional Director, Parliamentarian, Annual Report Editor, Audit Committee Chair, Endowment Board Member, and a Director Emeritus. Dorsett has been a member of NCSS for over thirty years and has served in the House of Delegates, Credentials Chair, and Conference Hospitality Co-chair. Dorsett is also a member of Phi Delta Kappa Educational Fraternity and the National Association of Economic Educators. Dorsett holds BA and MA Degrees from the University of South Florida.
