Dr. Randy Felton Outstanding Citizen Award

The Dr. Randy Felton Outstanding Citizen Award recognizes an individual in the state of Florida who has done the most to promote the growth of social studies throughout the State. This award was previously named the Outstanding Citizen Award. In 2016, the FCSS Board of Directors voted unanimously to rename this award in honor of Dr. Randy Felton, long-time member of FCSS and devout advocate for social studies education. The 2017 recipient will be the first to receive this prestigious award renamed for Dr. Randy Felton.
